ATHENS TOWNSHIP VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY

The Athens Township Volunteer Fire Company provides the residents of Athens Township with Fire Protection and Rescue Services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with an all volunteer staff. Our personnel come from all walks of life, and all creeds, but one thing they all have in common is they will be there for you on your worst day. 

The ATVFC is one of the busiest Fire Companies in Bradford County, responding to an average of 260 alarms a year, and that number continues to grow each year. We cover an area of 45 square miles, that includes over 70 miles of roadways, and portions of both the Chemung and Susquehanna Rivers. In addition to serving the residents of Athens Township, our Company provides assistance through mutual aide requests to our surrounding communities in both PA and NY.
